Before establishing Belle Property Canberra, Richard spent more than a decade in the competitive Manly market, owning and operating a respected agency and setting multiple record-breaking sales along the way. His reputation for honest communication and meticulous attention to detail continues to define his leadership today.

In 2021, Richard was awarded a Bravery Medal by the Governor-General of Australia for saving a man’s life on the South Coast, a moment that captures the same courage, composure, and sense of responsibility that his team and clients see every day.

A husband and father of three, Richard believes the strength of Belle Property Canberra lies in its family roots. His brother-in-law, Dan McAlpine, is Co-Principal, and together they’ve built an agency where relationships, mentorship, and community are at the heart of everything they do. Richard remains hands-on across operations, particularly in Property Management, where his high standards of service and genuine care set the tone for the entire business.
